Welcome message from Hon’ble Vice Chancellor

I take this opportunity to welcome all the participants to the National Conference on Recent advances in Computer Science and IT(NCRACIT) being organized by Department of IT Engineering, Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, Rajouri, J&K, India on 10-11 April, 2020.
The theme of the conference provides opportunities to all the distinguished researchers and other participants in field of Computer Science and IT to come together on a common platform and to indulge in constructive discussions to further improve their research.
I hope the participants would hold useful discussions on the recent advances in Computer and IT Engineering and the conference will provide platform to build interdisciplinary teams to solve various challenges faced in Engineering and Technology. I believe that paper presentations and deliberations during the conference shall provide valuable learning opportunity to all participants.
I complement the organizers for this major initiative and wish grand success to this Conference.
About the University
Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University has come into existence by an Act of the Jammu & Kashmir Legislative Assembly called the Jammu & Kashmir Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Act No. XVI of 2002. The motto of the university is “Iqra bismi RabbikalladiKhalaq” which means, “Read in the name of God who has created all that exists”. It reflects the vision and idealism for which the university stands. The objective identified for the university in the Act is to impart quality education and undertake research in basic and job oriented fields. Currently, the university is conducting undergraduate and post graduate programmes in various fields of Engineering, Science, Management and Arts. The university also offers three year diploma programme in various engineering disciplines. The university has transformed into a research oriented institution beyond teaching and learning by promoting research programmes of M.Phil and Ph.D in various academic courses.
About the Department
The Department of Information Technology and Engineering (ITE) was established in 2007 and is one of the pioneer Departments of School of Engineering. Presently the Department offers a B.Tech programme of four years duration. Keeping in view the global scenario of Information and technology, the syllabus is timely updated with reference to the current state of art. The students are acquainted broadly with the knowledge based on the field of Information Technology including its evolution, current trends and future directions. We believe that there is no saturation of bright and brilliant students in the future and we strive to inculcate the requisite skills in the students and provide the overall knowledge to them, so that the students come up with balanced personality.
Objective of the Conference
Information Technology has become an integral part of our daily life. It has served as big change agent in business and different aspects of society. Information Technology is the single, most rapidly changing and growing industry in the world. In this fast-paced world, technologies invented today may become obsolete tomorrow. Individuals within these organizations continue to face the challenge of developing and implementing the latest technology. This conference aims to bring together innovative academicians, researchers, scientists and industrial experts in multi-disciplinary field and to provide a platform to acquaint & share new ideas on the recent trends in Information Technology. Further the conference will provide a platform for sharing innovation, knowledge & in-depth understanding of trends and challenges covering all areas of computer science and information technology.

Registration Instructions
- Registration fee includes conference kit, refreshment, lunch, etc.
- Normally 3 authors are allowed for a paper (including guide) in the nominal charge.
- At least one author has to register for the conference.
- If co-authors wants to participate, he / she has to pay participation fee only.
- Acceptance / Rejection will be intimated as soon as possible.
- Other State / Foreign authors who are not able to participate can present their paper in absentia through skype /video conferencing or submission of presentation (subject to Journal Guidelines)
For paper submission the following guidelines must be followed:
- Abstract should not exceed 300 words
- Maximum length of paper should not exceed six pages(Two columns)
- Paper should be typed as IEEE conference format
- Paper in word and PDF format should be sent to ncracit@bgsbu.ac.in
- All accepted papers will be published in conference proceedings. Selected paper after peer review process will be published in Scopus journal
